Development And Application Of Spin Finishes For Polyester Staple Fiber

In this thesis, the interactions between spin finishes and spinning, nonwovenfabrics, spinnability etc. were studied systematically. According to the interactionmechanism and positive synergic effectivitys of the surfactant, and by means ofvarious research methods, we had optimized the components of spin finishes, such assmooth agent, cohesive agent, emulsifying agent and antistatic agent, and determinedspin finishes formula finally. Also, the spin finishes had been produced and appliedsuccessfully in commercial production.The developed antistatic agent had a better performance on anti static electricityand smoothness, which had overcome the shortages of static electric interference androughness in spinning of polyester staple fiber. At the same time, the agent had goodhumid suitability for solving the problems of the traditional antistatic agent, whosebad antistatic property and absorbing moisture to became sticky in low and highhumidities, respectively.This research had formed a whole set of process package technology from thestructure and properties of single component in spin finish, screening andoptimization of the formula, to the match between the spin finish and polyesterstaple fiber in spinning technology, as well as the evaluation on spinnability of fiberspinning etc.
