Development Of NC Machining Automatic Programming And Simulation System

In China, many manufacturing enterprises in order to upgrade the technical quality, and enhance competition ability of their products at home and abroad market, they have begun to fetch in and rapid spread the production technology of automatic programming. It appeared very necessary that the personnel of engineering and technology master the technology of automatic programming. But the automatic programing technology relate to a lot of knowledge of NC machining, so sometimes even if the NC program was compiled, but more often it is unreasonable or can not to be used, so it is necessary to set up automatic programming experiment. At the same time, as a result of the number of NC machine tools is limited to be used in actual teaching in China, even if the NC program be compiled,it more often can not be checked, which greatly limited setting up the NC experiment in College, but now the simulation software has been a long-term development, and some can even be "deceptive", Which makes a lot of simulation software used in NC teaching as well as experiments, and we have achieved good results. By summing up the experience of the predecessors, and on the basic of basal NC machining, this paper opens up NC machining experiments of machining center, and do the following works:(1) The thesis systematically summarized the Pro/ENGINEER auto-programing technology, and accumulated the whole auto-program process, which makes the main steps and rules of CAM very clear.(2) In the thesis, a typical3D part was built. According to the FANUCOi system, the thesis developed an auto-program experiment system by using the VB and machine process.The system has many useful functions,such as machine mode selection,scanning mode selection,tools selection and process parameters selection,etc,which made the system have some knowing function about the auto-program function of PRO/ENGINEER.(3) A3-D model of TH5650machine center was built by using VERICUT software. A NC machining simulation system was formed by the model. According to the NC program. the system can do machine bed motion simulation, tool paths simulation and collision checking.etc.(4) The thesis optimized the NC Machining program. The optimization algorithm of MATLAB software, which satisfied the constraint of the machine and tool improved the work feed speed and machining efficiency.In this paper, a complete set of automatic programming of NC simulation system has been set up. It meets the requirements of the NC experiments, enriches the NC teaching means and perfects the process of NC experiment, also has certain practical value for the future NC teaching.
