Geological drilling operations are mostly carried out in the hard condition andpoor road conditions in the outside field, and its construction technology is verycomplex, else the level of education and the safety awareness of workers are not high,the lack of supervision and management authorities and other reasons in many aspects,which has the very high risk, so it belongs to high-risk industry. In order to change thecurrent situation of security, ensuring safety in production of geological drilling andpersonnel safety and health of workers, it needs use a set of suitable and effectivemodel of safety management to improve the safety management level from thepersonnel, machines, environment, management and so on various aspects.In recent years, the construction of work safety standardization is conducting inkinds of industry in our country. Because the work safety standardization is the modelof modern safety management, which is based on modern international safety conceptand model researched or summarized, such as OHSMS, HSE, and NOSA and so on. Itnot only combined with safety management and enterprise actual situation in China,but also is quite suitable for Chinese national conditions and enterprise characteristics.It is based on the "people-oriented" and "safety first", which emphasizing the legalsystem, rules system,the standardization, scientific and systematic of the enterprisesafety production, strengthening the accident prevention, focusing on continuousimprovement, and keeping with requirements of modern safety management. Theintroduction of the model of safety management is of great practical significance ingeological exploration industry. Nevertheless, the work is basically blank in thegeological drilling industry. Therefore, to remedy the blank, the thesis is of greatsignificance.In the paper, the structure is mainly divided into three parts. Firstly, it analyzedthe characteristics of construction process in the geological drilling industry, and itsummarized the type of accident and the problems of the safety management.Secondly, it summarized the principle and connotation through analyzing the overall structure and terms of "Basic norms for work safety standardization of enterprises”. Incombination with the safety standardization of other industris, safety rules andregulations which has issued, it put forward the structure of work safety standardizationfor geological drilling industry and determined the chiefly elements. Finally, it classifies theelements of first level and clearly defines the specific requirements of each element,according to the principle of modern safety management, such as the system principle,the principle from people, prevention principle and compulsory principle and so on,utilizing the risk management theory, safety behavior theory and personal engineeringtheory and so on, also combining with the actual situation of geological drillingenterprises.Overall, the article establishes work safety standardization in the geologicaldrilling industry, and it puts forward twelve primary elements and fifty-one secondaryelements.
