Shipbuilding enterprise engages in the business of shipbuilding and repairing business. In recent years, there are a number of complex procedures and special jobs in ship manufacturing process. which making the safety accidents occurred commonly in the ship construction process. The safety evaluation for shipbuilding business is imperative, we can identify the main factors influenced the production safety and the assessment can also reflect the security situation of the enterprise objectively. Therefore, safety evaluation in shipbuilding enterprise is very significant. This paper, based on numbers of literatures, discusses the types of safety factors and accidents in shipbuilding enterprises. According to the safety status of the shipbuilding business, this paper establishes a safety assessment index system and a theory is presented with the method of attribute mathematics to solve the safety evaluation in shipbuilding enterprises. Then the fuzzy analysis hierarchy process(FAHP) is introduced, through the analysis of shipbuilding enterprise safety evaluation index system which including the factors and relations, the index weight will be determined after grading by experts.The main results in the paper are:(1) This paper constructs a shipbuilding enterprises of safety evaluation index system. Shipbuilding enterprises of our country on the current situation and existing problems are analyzed and the influence factors of shipbuilding enterprises are discussed. This paper analyzes the elements of shipbuilding enterprise system. There are four criterion layer indexes. the personnel quality factors, safety factors of the process equipment system, influence factors of comprehensive safety management, factors of working environment.(2) The method, fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) is used to calculate weight. A mathematic model has been built for the safety evaluation of shipbuilding enterprise by attribute mathematics. After the quantitative analysis, the results are calculated and checked by concrete examples.(3) The index system researched by concrete examples in this paper can be used in shipbuilding enterprise safety assessment.
