Since the concept of beam string structure (BSS) was put forward, the structuralsystem of beam string structure is still improved and innovated constantly. One-waybeam string structure, which is flexibility and unaffected of terrain, is the most simple,earliest and the best understood of beam string structure, to strengthen the forceperformance, previous innovation are mainly embodied in evolving the upper rigidstructure. This paper takes Yan’an railway station one-way beam string canopy structureas project background and study object, makes improvements on BSS on this basis, andputs a new kind of pseudo bi-directional string structure, combining the characteristicsof double BSS.The finite element model established in this paper takes the actual project as areference. First of all, the inverse iteration method of equivalent cooling prestress isused to analysis the form; The constituent parameters of pseudo bi-directional stringstructure on the impact of upper chord forces and displacement changes are studiedfollowed, especially considering the impact of the included angle of upper chord, sag-span ratio bracing number and prestress on the entire structure, to obtain the reasonablevalue and range of variation of design parameters, and make reference to future researchand engineering design. Finally, pseudo bi-directional string structure is put forward toovercome the stability problem of one-way BSS, so it also needs taking the stabilityproblem as the important consideration, Structural stability includes local stability andoverall stability. Overall stability of the research object is mainly analysed theoreticallyin this paper.A new kind of one-way BSS is put forward in this paper, which is made static andstability analysis. Some guidance on further research and practical engineering is expected.
