| Architecture possesses artistic, social, and other value in addition to its function ashabitation for humans. Because it is a product of the collective consciousness of a society,architecture reflects that society’s structure and governing ideology. The actualization ofdesign under the influence of different space conceptions is complicated by differentcultural backgrounds and reality. The goal of influencing peoples’ lives can be achievedthrough the organization of space design. What we face today are important changes inmany areas such as the mechanisms of the development of Chinese cities and land use anddevelopment policies. Architecture bears a degree of responsibility toward the creation ofemerging social relations. Although architecture cannot completely change society, it isstill necessary to consider the capabilities of the environment when actualizing designunder the current environment. This paper begins from the perspective of architecturalspace design to conduct an exposition of the socialization of architectural space within thelimitation of designer capabilities, and considers how architecture can enter contemporaryurban daily life and exert a positive influence toward the solution of social problems. |
