A Research About Evaluation Of Regional Green Residential Building

Since the90’s in the last century, the concept "Green building" was imported to China, based on the research and practices of "Green building" for nearly one century in those developed countries in Europe and America, the understanding of "Green building" in our country has also developed greatly from the prospect of technical application to aspects like building innovation, design patterns, building evaluation, building related education etc. Since the beginning of21th century, our country has began to establish the marking of green buildings. Within only more than one decade, our country has achieved significant progress in the evaluation of green buildings and established relatively complete evaluation standard of green buildings and also quite a lot of evaluation standards with regard to different types of green buildings have been derived. Among those differentiated standards, the progress in the evaluation standard construction of residential buildings is quite significant, while every region in our country has also been sparing no efforts to make their contribution in the green evaluation of residential buildings-which can well represent the regional difference. This paper will lay its foundation on the background of green residential buildings in Dalian and its development in evaluation research, and will mainly expand my research contents along two routes as the residential buildings evaluation and the regional character of residential buildings, and the combination of regional evaluation and regional design, then discussion would be conducted on the studied topic through two aspects as the interpretation of evaluation system and the analysis of evaluation practices.This paper will be arranged in six chapters. The Chapter1is the general description part which will make an introduction of the background, research aim, research methods of this paper, and set the discussion scope and propose related fundamental questions; the Chapter2will make theoretical interpretation of green building evaluation, which mainly includes the comparisons between the famous green building evaluation system and our currently applied evaluation system, and will make analysis of the regional origin of different systems; the Chapter3will make an arrangement of the relationship between the green evaluation of residential buildings and design, new design patterns and design methods will be suggested, while the evaluation methods will make a integration of these two aspects. Through the illustration of evaluation practices both in our country and in abroad, the regional difference in the evaluation practices of different systems will be discussed; the Chapter4is the main body of this paper. Firstly, I will illustrate the evaluation standard of green residential buildings in Dalian specifically and conclude the regional characters and specific indicators related in the evaluation standard. Secondly, I will identify the application process of regional evaluation standard and its combination with practical program design through the analysis the evaluation practices of two representative residential programs. In the end of the Chapter4, I will also make a summary of the evaluation standard of green residential buildings in Dalian and problems met in the evaluation application, and make comprehensive suggestion concerning these problems; the Chapter5puts the focus on the combination of architectural design and the evaluation standard in Dalian, According to the regional character of evaluation standard, design strategies of residential buildings based on its evaluation standard will be proposed; then this paper will interpret the application characters of the above-described design strategies specifically through the analysis of program practices and my trial designed application, and will also verify the feasibility of these design strategies.
