Research On Sustainable Mass Rail Transit Under Transit Metropolis Strategy

Urban traffic is the infrastructure support and premise of the urban development. With the concept of sustainable development has been accepted by countries in the world, cities take the road of sustainable development has become a trend. China’s large cities, in general, has congestion environmental pollution and Intensified energy consumption.The national conditions require major cities from car-oriented urban development model to trans it-oriented urban development model, improving the urban traffic conditions and curbing sprawl Spatial Expansion to achieve sustainable development of cities. Its large capacity, environmental protection and good space for a leading role are the skeleton of the urban transit,so its development is imperative. But rail transportation in most cities of China is facing huge financial pressure, the investment can’t be recovered at a loss long-term and the development can’t be sustained. To achieve balance of payments of rail transit construction and operation and to ensure the sustainable development of rail transport, have become that the major cities have to face the problem. In view of the necessity and urgency of sustainable development of urban rail transit, in order to achieve sustainable development of cities, this article from China’s basic national conditions and on the basis of the content and objectives of the development of comprehensive analysis of rail transit,takes transit metropolis strategy as a guide to build rail transit sustainable development framework and makes of operation for the sustainable development of rail transit and makes a comprehensive evaluation of sustainable development of urban rail transit system, and provides the sustainable measures of urban rail transit. Finally. Shenzhen as an example, it proposes sustainable mass rail transit under Transit Metropolis Strategy in the analysis and evaluation of the status quo, and makes sustainable comprehensive evaluation of rail transit in the target years,for providing the theory and methods to achieve sustainable development of urban rail transit.On the basis of the connotation and development goals of transit metropolis,this paper provides that transit metropolis has great significance for achieving the sustainable development of cities, and then analyzes the implications and requirements of rail transit sustainable development model, and puts forward the sustainable development of urban rail transit complement transit metropolis strategy,and a unified development should be combined to reach a common goal, namely to achieve the sustainable development of cities. Based on the analysis, the impact factor and the principle of sustainable mass rail transit under transit metropolis strategy have been clear.And on the basis of international experience to propose rail transit sustainable development framework and mode of operation,and provides the comprehensive evaluation system based on criteria of transport function, economic, and urban development, coordination and so on, to judge the sustainable development of urban rail transit capacity and response to the development of rail transit. Finally, empirical studies show that sustainable mass rail transit under Transit Metropolis Strategy proposed in this paper can better address the sustainable development of metropolitan rail transit, and has good application prospects and promotional value.
