As the development of the relay, it has been widely used in various industries such asshipbuilding, aviation, spaceflight etc. for recent years. The microminiature electromagneticrelay of ships plays very important action in the modern ships automation system. The reliabilityof the relay dominates the whole behaviour of the ships system directly. So, the highercapabilities of the relay are needed.The electrical and mechanical parameters are the main influence factors for the capability ofrelay. They directly affect the product’s quality, life, failure rate, distribution and so on. The relaymust be tested correlative mechanical parameter before factory inspection. There are manyapparatuses of electrical parameters for relay in China. But, home-produced test bench ofmicrominiature relay used for testing mechanical parameters is few. Therefore, researching onthe mechanical characteristic of the microminiature electromagnetic relay of ships has veryimportant practical value and theoretical meaning for improving the reliability of the relay andthe whole ship’s system.For carrying out the precise testing and getting the mechanical characteristic parameter ofthe microminiature relay conveniently and quickly, we designed a microcomputer visual testbench on mechanical parameters for ships microminiature relay. It provided some performanceparameters for the study and production of this relay.The microcomputer visual test bench on mechanical parameters for ships microminiaturerelay provides many favorable terms for the relay widely used in aviation, spaceflight and so on.It can detect true time and precisely. The detecting process is visual. We can obtain the historydata and compare the characteristic curves. The system is made up with PC, sensor, signalprocessor module, execute unit, data acquisition and interface circuit parts. The execute unitoperates by high precision servo gear module. This system achieves the synchronous testing ofpressure and displacement by the combination of the servo gear and precise module.The main content of my thesis is as below:I have established the high precise servo gear and visual high-speed data acquisition andcontrol system. The design and integration of hardware are carried out for the relay’s detectingdevice.Designed the software of the detecting device by LabVIEW, including man-machine interface, parameter setting, the display of data and wave shape, the curve saving, wave shapeplayback, report forms generating etc.I have tested and verified the stability of the whole testing system by repeat testing timeafter time. During the testing, I have found some methods of meliorating the system.
