Power network planning is the power supply to the region for national economic and social development important constituent, but also it is an important part in the long-term development of the planning for electricity enterprises themselves. Power grid planning has a leading and decisive role for power grid construction, operation and power to protect.In this paper, the current situation of Fuyang power grid has been analyzed. Though analyzing the situation of power grid for zone profiles, the local maximum load and power consumption, power supply were researched and analyzed. Considering the analysis of the power structure and power transmission equipment, the situation and the existence questions were presented for Fuyang high voltage power grid.The load forecasting has been discussed in the paper. First the short-term power load forecasting methods were briefly described, and then the prediction of Fuyang regional economic development was taken into consideration, also the historical data analysis and load characteristic analysis were made. Lastly, load forecasting was done though the method global and partition prediction, the method of electricity elasticity coefficient.Fuyang network planning and construction arrangements has been discussed in the paper.Electric power and energy balance calculations, and provide a basis for carrying out the power grid planning and design. Substation capacity arrangements, planning of substation capacity requirements than the requirements estimated in accordance with the capacity set out.220kV and110kV grid construction planning, high voltage power grid, in the low-voltage power grid construction and investment in upgrading estimates, and to assess the power supply capacity.
