Ethernet communication is the hot development fields and important direction of current embedded systems, with the boost of automation degree of micro-grid operation and the development of embedded Ethernet technology, the implement of micro-grid monitoring system is gradually to the network control.In this paper a method of Internet technology applied to embedded system will be distributed in the monitoring system, combined the embedded technology and network communication technology with the research of the monitor system.Above all, This paper introduces the development situation and current research status of micro-grid monitoring system in domestic and overseas, analytical the basic composition of micro-grid structure, main operation mode and communication system, According to the requirement of selectivity, rapidity, reliability and sensitivity of micro-grid monitoring system. This topic selected Ethernet communication as system’s communication mode, and introduces the TCP/IP model and the role of each layer about the model. Secondly, Introduced the hardware structure and system software design of controller in detail. The system software design based on embedded operating system μC/OS-Ⅱ, on the basis of μC/OS-Ⅱ transplantation, designed the embedded TCP/IP protocol stack the reasonably. Finally, for the whole monitoring system we adopt the C/S communication mode, according to the monitoring need we can choose micro-grid controller as any party of C/S mode, and via the simulation experiment to test the feasibility of this communication platform.This system realizes the real-time information interaction of system upper monitor software and micro-grid controller, and can understand the micro-grid system’s real-time operation state through the system upper monitor software. Such monitoring system not only improve instantaneity and safety of the system operation, make the site equipment got more effectively control, and also provides a better monitoring platform for the officials of enterprise management.
