With the development of the micro-grid, the structure of the micro-grid is increasingly complex, and the applications are more and more widely. The real-time monitor is important to the micro-grid’s stable operation. Micro grid mainly used hierarchical control. This paper aims at the property of island new energy power generation system, proposes field Ethernet technique with which realize information communication between monitor equipment and central integrated control unit. To solve the problem of communication in hierarchical control, we design a smart terminal. Smart terminal hardware is made up of control and computation module, communication management module, power quality measurement module, input and output modules and isolation circuit module. Based on this hardware, we ported FreeRTOS embedded system. On the system, we design some tasks to send control commands, receive feedback messages, information and data collection.The hardware and software design of the system is reliable and the actual effect is stable.
