The techniques of water quality and quantity joint regulationwhich com-binestechniquesof river network generalization,flow movement,water qualitysimulation and sluice damdispatchingtogether, is one of the effective methodsfor river pollution control and management.Itprovidespractical value andtheoretical significanceforantipollution scheduling of heavy pollution river.According to the characteristics of Shaying River, a coupling unsteadymodel for water quality and quantity is established to meet the requirement ofwater flow and quality conditions. The model which is calibrated and tested bythe field data, lays a foundation for solving the water quality and quantityjoint regulation model.Based onwater consumption in current years, sluice dam of schedulingmodeland water quantity and quality coupling model, the established waterquality and quantity joint regulation model takes the minimum water shortageand the deviation of water quality management objectives as the objectivefunction,and takes water balance,the controlled water level offlood andnon-flood season, water consumption along the river channel as constraintconditions. The model is solved by goal programming and dynamic program-ming, and the results show that the downstream water quality can be improvedby reasonable regulating water quantity.The research results maybe provide avaluable referencefor antipollution scheduling in Huaihe river and Shayingriver。...
