The concept of "barrier-free environment since the United Nations in1974, developedcountries started to pay attention to the rights of disabled persons abroad has attached greatimportance for the study of barrier-free design, barrier-free design in recent years have graduallybecome an important direction of our country academia. Public buildings generally larger, theuse of complex functions, usually the more important building in the city, higher and morerigorous and standardized design requirements for barrier free design, and has important researchvalue. Germany in the barrier-free design started early, the accessibility of public buildings isrelatively mature, to find accessible road suited to China’s national conditions through theanalysis of barrier-free design system in Germany, is the main purpose of this thesis.By the perspective of environmental psychology Disabled Persons psychology on thebehavior of persons with disabilities and psychological analysis, summary of the three designstrategies that summed up a barrier-free system of public buildings in a targeted manner, you canperceive the strategy, accessibility strategies and operational strategy; combined with theextensive literature collected in Germany, the regulations, design specifications, and specificexamples on the design method of the German urban planning and architectural design ofbarrier-free system; Finally, combining the actual situation of the barrier free design at this stage,analysis of China’s current situation and problems of barrier-free system, countermeasures andsuggestions from the design and management, enabling researchers to have more practicalsignificance.
