Application Reseach Of Barrier Free Design In The Public Environment

With the rapid economic development and the improvement of material life andspiritual life overall,comfort,convenience,safety and reasonable environment hasbecome an important symbol of modern civilization. Barrier free design due to givefull consideration to both the different degree of disability or defects and normalphysical impairment(such as the disabled,elderly) demand was concerned. The articlethrough the analysis of domestic and international status of barrier free design,summarized the value and practical significance for barrier free design. The articleadopting ergonomics as a theoretical starting point of barrier free design analyzedscientificly and comprehensively the human body standing, sitting and horizontaldimensions and proposed application of the basic priciples of human body size.At the same time, barrier free design in the public environment applications werethe focus of this study. According to service objects of barrier free design, it can bedivided into visually imparied,physically disabled and language barriers. And itcarries out designing for barrier free design according to barrier. The article focus onthe improvement and development of the visual,physical and language barrierfacilities.In addition, a method of using a case studying in the article was used to explorethe application of barrier free design,such as using a wheelchair user as the object toanalyze the characteristics. It will encounter obstacles in practice. Personal views wasput forward for barriers. Two classic cases were cited --- Qingdao Olympic SailingCenter and the National Waterfront Museum.It concretely reflects the actualapplication of barrier free design.In short,the ultimate goal of barrier free design is to care for disabledpeople,pregnant women,children and people with special needs. The barrier freedesign will provide them with comfortable,reasonable,safe,barrier free designenvironment of science, and create a loving and caring and effectively protect human safe,convenient,comfortable and modern living environment. So as to promoteharmonious development of society, and benefit of all human.
