With the acceleration of national economic construction, to meet the growing powerdistribution needs, the grid distribution automation requirements are getting higher. Obtainthe state of Power Network is one of the most essential parts of automation in powerdistribution. In power distribution network daily management activities, if we can obtainthe state of power network quickly and correctly, it can make great convenient for workerto make distribution and decision. In this thesis, the obtaining state of Power Network based on Power distribution GISwas researched, and the obtaining state of Power Network combined with GIS’s networkanalysis function was designed. Firstly, the thesis introduces the topology theory based ongraph theory, and describes tree’s (graph’s) depth-first search, breath-first search andgraph’s connectivity in detail. Secondly, elaborates Power distribution network’s datamodel and network topology model, on this basis, combined with the characteristics of thenetwork topology model, achieve distribution network topology analysis of basic GISfunction, including connectivity analysis, power-point search, substation supply rangesearch, loop detection, downstream equipment search, and so on. And take two pointconnectivity analysis and downstream equipment search for specific example, to give thegeneral steps and processes of distribution network topology analysis. Based ondistribution network GIS’s network analysis functions, give the specific implementation oflisting; While drawing on the idea of dynamic programming and Divide-and-Conquer,also proposes “dummy power” search algorithm, whose performance has been greatlyimproved and enhanced compared with traditional global search algorithm, and gives aspecific implementation.
