Study On The New Way Of Distribution System Automation

With the development of urbanization in our country, the quickening of the process ofdistribution network power supply quality and power supply reliability is day by day prominentcontradiction, speed up the construction of power distribution automation system and application,become the increase of the power supply reliability distribution network is a key step.Based upon the introduction of distribution management system, the paper describes theshortcomings and strong points of the system. After a brief introduction of distribution networkautomation system，the functions of fault detection, automatic sectionalization, fault isolation andautomatic restoration of power supply in the non-broken-down sections are described. The effects ofsystem application are analyzed, and the site test results are presented. The importance of distributionnetwork automation system to the secure operation of power supply network for2012World Expo ispresented, and it can be used as the reference of the construction of distribution network automationin China in the future.
