With the rapid development of the global economy, the car in people’s daily lives isbecoming increasingly popular, becoming an integral part of today’s social developmentnecessities, however, the car has brought us convenient but also brought us exhaust pollutionand noise pollution, exhaust pollution is a topic we often talk about, this is also concernedabout the highest degree of a problem, and the country established a standard about theexhaust pollution. However, noise pollution is considered one of the three public nuisance inmodern society, but often overlooked, therefore vehicle noise should be given more attention.This article, noise test platform is the tire test rig based on the tire noisegeneration principle. The test rig using drum method, noisy can be easily test indoor, providea theoretical basis for the different tire structure,material and size of tires have different noise.In this article, a general introduction part of the mechanical structure of the tire test rig,focus on the tire testing and control systems.The tire test rig noise sensor, tire speed sensor, force sensor of the telescopic boom uses astandard sensor. Tire load sensor and the brake torque sensor due to the special structure, usesthe specially designed sensor.Among, the testing system we used Today’s more popular NI company’s CompactDAQprogram. This program has more advantages, the most prominent is this program for themodular, has a high flexibility convenient for maintenance, feature upgrades, and so an.And, the control systems we used Mitsubishi FX2Nseries PLC as the control system,and a preliminary selection of the control system hardware and software. Basic design of theupper man-machine interface and PLC control program in the software design.
