Research On Evaluation Of Shenzhen Urban Public Transport Service Quality

As a fast-growing international city, Shenzhen has a huge population and a high level of vehicles held in quantity. The ever rising traffic pressure in Shenzhen is worsening urban passenger structure trend and putting tough challenge on urban public transport. However, urban public transport is able to meet basic travel needs of city residents, and ease travel pressure of the urban transport system. Shenzhen prioritize vigorously in the development of urban public transport as the sustainable development of urban transport strategy. With the improvement of living standards, people pay more attention to service quality of public transport. The service quality of urban public transport means the level of services provided by all elements of the city’s public transport system, which comprehensive reflects not only the effort made by urban public transport for urban residents, but also the satisfaction of the passengers on the existing public transport services level. Shenzhen’s public transport service quality affects passengers’willingness to choose public transport to travel. Scientific and objective evaluation of the public transport service quality in Shenzhen City is the fundamental way to improve the quality of public transport services and the attractiveness of public transport service.Firstly, this paper analyzes the research and development situation of domestic and foreign services of the public transport system, details the Shenzhen service quality of urban public transport development status, mainly including conventional public transport, taxi, rail transportation, and slow traffic, and summarizes the problems existing in the status quo of Shenzhen urban public transport.Secondly, the paper briefly summarizes the commonly used methods of comprehensive evaluation, and comparative analyze the characteristics of several multiple evaluation methods, such as AHP, Extenics. Then select the Extension Element analysis as the evaluation method, and construct Matter Element Evaluation. By fixing the principles of setting up index system, design method and concrete structure, it analyzes the dimension and index system service quality of urban public transport in the researches done. On this basis, it constructs the urban public transport service evaluation index system in terms of public transportation infrastructure, public transport operating service and passenger perception, and sets the grading and calculating method according to related regulations and research results.Finally, based on the public transport double satisfaction polls and its service quality evaluation index system figures standardization, this paper works out the service quality level according to the model formerly constructed. And then, in consideration of the double satisfaction polls, the thesis puts forward measures and suggestions to deal with the sustainability and greenness of Shenzhen public transport head-on.
