As the research object, Bai Da Grand Bridge is a continuous rigid frame bridge. Itsmain bridge have two links, one link is85m+3*150m+85m, the other link is85m+150m+85m. The pier column is particularly higher than usual, it is a thin-walledhollow pier and its maximum height is up to91m. Therefore, the high pier displacementand verticality control, the linear monitoring of main bridge girder, the determinationand adjustment of the formwork erection elevation for construction is a key of thisproject.In the premise of ensuring the safety, quality and time limit, how to improve theconstruction schedule and the appearance quality of the high pier and continuous rigidframe bridge and how to make technical summary will be the brightened dot of thisproject. The key technology of the project includes technical difficulties and innovation,referring to the following:Technical difficulties: Monitoring the verticality of the high piers and linear forthe main beam of the main bridge and the temperature effect is technical difficulty ofthis subject.Innovation: To utilize monitoring technology for high-pier bridge construction, toensure the quality of construction and optimize the construction strategy and to reduceconstruction costs and this innovation owns a leading position in the national high-pierbridge construction.This project is located in Napo County, Baise City, Zhuang Autonomous Regionof Guangxi. The engineering topographic feature is karst landform,where the greenmountains gather together and substantial hills and trees standing straightly,and thereare rivers underneath the mountains,therefore,to create road and construct a bridge isextremely difficult. We need to build high pier with the height of91m around mountainsand fields and then construct cradle over high piers. So it is essential for scientifictesting and reasonable, safe construction. The successful implementation of this subjectis not only contritute to strengthen Road and high Pier Bridge construction experienceaccumulation in China, but also strongly support to the implementation of the westernarea development for our country.
