Urban village is a product of the urbanization process in the1990s, and it’sformed by a variety of factors. The emergence of Urban villages have brought along aseries of social, economic, environmental and many other issues. Thus Urban villageshave become the disharmonious aspect of the harmonious society. So it’s critical toget a comprehensive and objective understanding of Urban villages in order to solvethe Urban village problems.This paper is based on a period of life living in a certain urban village. From thephenomenon of urban village to unearth the inherent nature of the formation of urbanvillages. Then through the rational analysis on urban village to get an inevitab le trendon the reconstruction of urban villages. Next to point out problems in the process ofreconstruction of urban villages at all levels. This paper has proposed thereconstruction of the urban village under Symbiotic theory. The feasibility of thisstrategy is demonstrated through the case of field researches.The clue of this research is from appearence to the essence, from theory topractice, and then demonstrated in practice. The problem concerning urban village isvery complicated. So the perspective of this research is not limited to constructionplanning but taking sociology, economics and other disciplines into consideration.This research is beginning from two levels, to discuss how do dwell different groupsof people in an urban village from the view of sociology,and to premeditate interestsof different groups from the view of economics. The level of market has proposed thesymbiotic strategy for the reasonable mutual interests. The material level hasdisscussed how to continue the historical context of urban villages, to realise thesymbiotic strategy about history and future, urban villages and cities, urban villagesand natural. The research methods from virtual to real make the reconstruction ofurban villages operational reliable.
