The converter is a key part of wind power generation system, which uses aseparate control system and communication protocols. It could current transformerand rectifier the alternating which comes from the wind power turbine generated.Now the wind power generation remote control system only contains some of thebasic control functions about the converter. In order to improve the intelligence,maintainability and reliability with the power generation system, making a windpower converter remote monitoring system has an important practical significance.The article first introduces the remote monitoring system technologies involvedin research and application status, and related technical principles; and made thesubject project needs analysis and systems analysis; design of the turbine inverterremote monitoring system, the overall structure and software architecture; details ofthe entire system’s hardware system design, software system’s main function modulesof process design and development of the core modules.The system is divided into two parts, the first converter is a fan ofcommunications gateway, this gateway through the TCP/IP protocol and the CAN buscommunication protocol conversion between the remote monitoring system betweenthe inverter and the fan information and communication; second part is the server, theserver uses the B/S network structure, the use of embedded Web server system, theintegration of the CAN bus communication protocol, users need only a web browserwill be able to work the remote control converter, and real-time acquisition,processing and display converter operating parameters, such as bus voltage, invertercurrent, converter component temperature. System can monitor in real time on theCAN bus converter error code, notify the user process and propose correctivesolutions. In addition to the converter system operating parameters, remote worksettings, and remotely download updates converter internal control system.Verified through the practical application of the normal and reliable operation ofthe system, to achieve the desired design requirements, and design systems and otherremote monitoring systems were compared. In the end, it proved the reliable of thesystem by running the experiments, the result of the experiments shows that thesystem has met the expected demand.
