Research On The Analysis And Evaluation Of Wuhan Newpotr Port Logistics System

In order to get all the advantages of Yangtze River golden waterway, enhance thecomprehensive ability of the Midwest regional services, preferably marshal resources of portlogistics, and promote the production factors to gather along the Yangtze river, in May2008,Hubei provincial government size up the situation, standing on the height of the scientificdevelopment, propose the important strategic decision of constructing Wuhan Newport, whichwill promote the two types of social construction of Wuhan city circle, foster the rise of thecentral region. Wuhan Newport contains four harbor districts: Wuhan port, Ezhou port,Xianning port, Huanggang port. Wuhan Newport formulates the development objectives, whichis a hundred-million-ton world-class harbor.This thesis set up the evaluation index system of Wuhan Newport logistic system on thebasic of analyzing the internal and external environments, basic situation and operating state ofWuhan Newport logistics system. By introducing the index weight calculated by AHP(Analytical Hierarchy Process) and using the grey relation analysis to evaluate syntheticallythe four harbor district of Wuhan Newport. The result of the analysis is to provide basis ofpromoting the development of the four harbor district and raising the overall level ofdevelopment.The thesis has six parts: The first chapter is a prolegomenon, which introduces thebackground and meaning of this research, reviews the study materials both at home and abroad,and introduces research contents, research methods and technique routes of the thesis. Thesecond chapter is summary of relevant theoretical theory and method, first, which introducesthe notion of logistics, then discusses the connotation, elements, functions and basic charactersof port logistics system, finally, introduces some common assessment method of port logisticssystem. The third chapter is system analysis of Wuhan Newport logistics system, whichanalyzes inner and outer environment of Wuhan Newport logistics system, basic situation andoperating state of port logistics system, and construction and functional localization of portlogistics system. The fourth chapter is construction of Wuhan Newport logistics systemevaluation index system, which constructs the valuation index system on the basic of theconstruction principles and features of Wuhan Newport. A comprehensive appraisal model is setup based on AHP and Grey Correlation. The fifth Chapter is empirical study, first, whichpresents elementary situation of four harbor district of Wuhan Newport, then evaluatescomprehensively four harbor district with Grey Correlation, analyzes the result of evaluationand draws inspiration. The sixth chapter is conclusions and expectations, which concludesprimary research outcomes of the thesis and makes corresponding prospect to the future study.
