Methods And Practice For Spatial Form Planning Of Guang Zhou Aviation Industry City

Air transportation industry today is developing in a top speed while undergoing animportant upgrade. It can be proved by the boom of the construction of the aviation industrialestate around China. As a rising urban spatial carrier relied on the development of airtransport hub and airport economy, spatial form of the aviation industrial estate is limited bylots of factors, such as industry distribution, airport restriction, environment protection and soon. In a word, it has its own particular traits though it does share some similarities with otherforms of industrial estate. Based on the planning of aviation industry city in GZ, this essayanalyzed the interrelations of factors which act on integrated aviation industrial estate, likespatial form planning, industry development and resources utilization. Under the bases of cityplanning and urban containment, the essay not only discussed the appropriate methods whichcould be used on spatial form planning of the aviation industrial estate, it also researched thekey elements that could greatly affect the planning process.The first part of the essay determined the research object, method and framework. Aftercarefully thinking, the characteristic, composition and development patterns of the spatiallayout of aviation industrial estate were decided to be the main topics. Document and caseanalysis had been used on study as the main methods. By analyzing the spatial relationbetween the aviation industrial estate and the airport economic zone from the view of spatialform planning and design instruction, the essay finally concluded the achievements acquiredfrom the construction work and also pointed out the deficiencies still existed in the planningprocess. Additionally, study on several cases about the development of aviation industrialestate from both domestic and overseas also contributed to this part of the essays.The second part qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed the elements and methods ofthe planning work by viewing it in three different perspectives which are the macroscopicview from master plan level, intermediate view from spatial form control level and themicrocosmic view from the environmental design level. And the research emphasize on theintermediate aspect. It quantitatively analyzed the elements which directly reflects the cityform and classified those elements into different patterns. Additionally, based on theframework of spatial form planning and element control system, the essay presented somesuggestions on the form of planning achievement. It proposed a new land control methodwhich linked up spatial control work and project implementation management. And this newcontrol system contains two plans which are respectively in charge of the index control andthe design control. The last part of the essay came to a real project which is the spatial form planning of theaviation industry city in GZ. By evaluating the master plan of this project, the essay furtherimproved the methods of spatial form plan and control of the aviation industrial estate. And italso presented measures of the spatial form plan and management to make sure that all theplanned spatial form can be implemented practically through valid control and effectivemanagement.
