The total construction area is1million square meters in a special power supply area ofFoshan, where a national financial industry background service base and regional financialbusiness areas will be built in next5years. The wide range of power network planning cannot resolve the contradiction between great-leap-forward development of electricity demandand the existing shortage of power supply capacity in general sense, and also it cannotsatisfy power supply reliability, power quality and other technical indices proposed byregional financial enterprises. Therefore, a targeted power grid planning is needed to accordwith real application, fulfill furture development and keep capacity margin.According to land block prediction method, this paper performs power load forecastingincluding the submintted load application, long-range perspective years load and middleyears load. Then high-voltage power network planning is conducted, the present situationand existing problems in high-voltage power networks is analyzed, and the objective,emphasis and principle of high-voltage power planning is explored based on this. Hence,the scheme of high-voltage power network planning is formulated and the effect of itsimplementation is analyzed also. Furthermore, low-voltage distribution network planning isdiscussed, the present situation and existing problems in low-voltage power networks isanalyzed, and the objective, emphasis and principle of low-voltage power planning areinvestigated based on this. Thus, sheme of low-voltage power network planning isformulated and the effect of its implementation is analyzed also. Finally, the distributionnetwork automation problems including the present status and existing problems in Foshanare studied. The objective, emphasis and principle of of distribution network automation areanalyzed, the scheme of distribution network automation is formulated and the effect of itsimplementation is analyzed also.
