| Nowadays,in the such high-speed development of Chinese economy background, the healthcare architecture has become the construction hotspot and focus in thisperiod. Meanwhile, international architecture design institutions are coming to theChinese architecture market, introduced the advanced medical service system andmedical facilities construction experience to our people. They bring the vision of the“Patient-oriented†healing environment and high-end humanized serving to China. As the initial part of healthcare architecture, the inpatient care department shouldbe a comfortable medical space, and should meet the need of patients, families, visitors, caregivers, doctors, and other logistics service personnel. At the same time, the measures of solving kinds of problems, such as improving safety and decreasingserious medical errors should be the most important point of inpatient care departmentdesign. Based on these complex design requirements, U.S healthcare architecture hasexperienced extensive practice of “evidence-based designâ€, and developed a model ofinpatient care department floor plan, and a set of patient room design schemes, whichare really different with the Chinese typical healthcare architecture design. Exploringthe true reason under this different appearance will lead us to the real situation, without blinding and unconscious to gain more advanced ideas and the essence of thehealthcare facility design.First of all, the comparative research will happen in the present situation ofmedical system. This paper will get nice ideas from the root causes of the differencebetween these two countries. Then, with "evidence-based design" principle as theguidance, the patient care unit floor plans are the objects of the comparative research. At this stage, all these plans will to be classified, and be analyzed, in order to getspecifics of each type. The result will tell the best plan which is used all around theU.S, and give us some suggestions. Finally, the researches focus on the inner space ofpatient care room. The point is exploring the challenges of each country, and theconsensus they have. Analyses are according to the different user groups, using themethod based on the quantitative analysis of the problem to solve practical problems. |
