Truck crane is widely applied in various areas of the national economy as mobile liftingequipment. it is a kind of complex mechanical system which mainly involves structure, hydraulicand control, with the development of our country’s economic construction, it is demanded moreand requirements for its performance are higher. Usually the operating mechanism of the cranesis driven by hydraulic, so the hydraulic system characteristics can determine the machineperformance to a great extent. Therefore, it becomes a important link to study hydraulic systemfurther to improve its performance in development process of truck crane, and one of theimportant and effective means is the computer simulation.Truck crane is a complex mechanical systems involving machinery, hydraulic, and control,there is a significant limitations to make the truck crane hydraulic system simulation and analysisbased only on a single discipline. Based on the concept of multidisciplinary co-simulation, withmechanical dynamics simulation software ADAMS builds the truck crane hydraulic systemmechanical model; hydraulic simulation software AMESim builds its hydraulic system model,realized the simulation data sharing through the interface file, complete the co-simulation oftruck crane hydraulic system, so that provide a simulation and analysis method for themulti-disciplinary complex mechanical analysis which can modeling more close to reality.In order to make the multi-disciplinary co-simulation method feasible for practical use,using VB language established simulation platform for the truck crane hydraulic system whichbased on ADAMS and AMESim, the platform can call to ADAMS and AMESim softwares bymaking special interface file, set up the regime between two software, achieve simulation datareal-time transmission and sharing, and realize the truck crane hydraulic system’s co-simulation.The co-simulation of QY20truck crane’s lifting mechanism through this platform shows that, thesystem reliable operation, can realize machine liquid integration modeling and simulation of thelifting mechanism, compared the simulation and the experimental results shows that, the flowrate and pressure of co-simulation’s curve and the test curve error is under6%, but when use asingle AMESim software simulation, its corresponding simulation results error is in fluctuates upand down10%. This shows that based on the multi-disciplinary of CAE simulation platform hasthe higher accuracy than a single discipline simulation.It is a reference for multi-disciplinary system simulation and analysis of engineeringmachinery with multi-disciplinary CAE Technique.
