The city heating process has realized the automatic control to a certain extent as the continuous increase of heating industry automation level and the engaged in the energy conservation work. The heating quality and energy efficiency are improved significantly. But extensive management, high energy consumption and low energy efficiency are the main phenomena in a large number of industrial sites. A lot of running data lack depth analysis and use. The heating process is lack of a reliable quantitative evaluation system. It can’t meet the need of the manager that can master the evaluation and direct operation in time. It is difficult to improve the operating habits to the operator and efficiency to the boilers because of the lack of scientific system of optimization. It has important significance of the research on performance evaluation and optimization of heating boiler system to promote energy conservation, social development, and the improvement of life.To solve problems above, it needs to establish a practical performance evaluation system, to evaluate the performance of heating boilers and staffs. It can provide the basis for staff to improve operations through establishing accurate guide optimizion system. It can provide a direction for boilers to improve energy efficiency and provide a platform for control algorithm to use and improve.It establishes the input and output model of the heating boiler through the least squares method according to the mechanism of heating boiler model. It can reflect the real operation condition of the boiler. The specific performance evaluation indicators are determined by the expert investigation method. The indicators include three parts which are economy, safety and control index. After the index system has been established it will get the weight of index system through analytic hierarchy process. It can guarantee the science, impartiality and the applicability of the evaluation indicators. A perfect third party performance evaluation system is established comparatively by using the ASP.net technology and database technology. The low efficiency state of boilers can be detected by the principal component analysis method. And then the parameters that can cause the low efficiency is diagnosed by using the traditional contribution figure method. So the system will give guidance to improve and optimize the system efficiency. It can improve the efficiency of boiler by optimizing control parameters.Practice shows that the application of this system can reduce the input of coal by5%, while protecting the environment, reducing the pollution. So the system has a broad application prospects.
