The hydraulic pump, motor and multi-way valve are the key hydraulic components of the hydraulic system of engineering machinery, whose property directly affect the operational factors of the whole system. The test of the hydraulic components is necessary before components assembling, system error detecting and during the maintaining of the hydraulic components. At present, there are two extremely situation in the using of the hydraulic pump, the motor and the multi-way valve testing desk among the majority of the company domestically. The test bench on low side is suffering from few functions, poor reliability, low accuracy and terrible security. While the test bench on high side may be troubled by something else, such as complex functions, high cost, the waste of resources and lacking practicability. So the research of the comprehensive test platform of hydraulic pump, motor and multi-way valve with high testing accuracy and efficiency, great security and practicability, and reducing the costing, has important practical significance.This article has designed the comprehensive test platform of hydraulic pump, motor and multi-way valve according to the national industry standards and testing demand. It has integrated the technology of PLC, frequency turning, touching screen monitor and data acquisition with LabVIEW. We have Settled the deficiency existing in domestic test bench about the hydraulic pump, motor and multi-way valve. The main research of this article is as follows:1. We have analyzed the test items and demand of the hydraulic pump, motor and multi-way valve. And we have been put forward the whole design plan that the comprehensive test platform should be consisted of hydraulic testing system and measurement and control system. We have designed the hydraulic test system composed of hydraulic station, hydraulic pump test bench, hydraulic motor test bench and multi-way valve test bench.2. We have brought forward the communications solutions of the measurement and control system, have designed the whole structure of the measurement and control system, have analyzed the signal gathered and controlled by the synthesized test bench, and also choice the PLC and expansion module according to the demand.3. We have designed the testing process based on the testing demand of the hydraulic pump, motor and multi-way valve, including control program of PLC, the touch screen program and gathering program of LabVIEW. In PLC data gathering, we have settled the problem in flow rate data gathering causing by HSC, increasing the accuracy of flow rate data. In data processing of LabVIEW, we have been made the curve reflecting the efficiency changing of the hydraulic pump more visualized by using the generalized curve fitting the efficiency curve.4. Using the comprehensive test platform, we have tested the feature of the hydraulic pump, motor and multi-way valve and analyzed the testing curves. The test results verified that the comprehensive test platform can satisfy the testing demand of the key hydraulic components.Practical application proves that the comprehensive test platform researched in this article has a high testing accuracy and efficiency, great reliability, friendly user interface and cost-effective. This comprehensive test platform can be widely used in testing of the hydraulic pump, motor and multi-way valve before installation, during system or hydraulic components maintaining. Also it can provide experimental support for the products design and factory test.
