High-rise Building Settlement Observation Technology Applications

To ensure the normal life of high-rise buildings and building security, and for thesubsequent investigation, design and construction of reliable information and thecorresponding parameters of the settlement, so the building settlement monitoring thenecessity and importance of getting obvious. Application of high-rise buildingconstruction process to enhance process monitoring settlement observation, guidanceand reasonable construction process, in the course of construction to prevent unevensettlement and timely feedback for the survey design and construction departments toprovide detailed first-hand information, to avoid the settlement causes damage themain structure of the building affect the structure or function of crack use, resulting inhuge economic losses. Therefore, high-rise buildings in the settlement must bemonitored, through the construction, completion and acceptance and the completionof the settlement observation activities to enhance process monitoring, to avoid theimpact of the settlement because the structure using the function of the crack or causedamage to the main structure of buildings, improve high-level building safety, toextend its service life.This paper describes:1) high-rise buildings on the importance and necessity ofobserving the settlement understanding;2) the settlement of high-rise buildingsbecause the basic requirements and settlement observation;3) commonly usedmonitoring methods, specifically to test this procedure, error analysis and unexpectedsolution to the problem.
