Housing industrialization has become the mainstream of the development of International residential construction industry. In recent years, with the reform of China’s housing construction continued to increase. Housing industrialization is bound to play an increasingly important role in China’s housing construction, and will Make a significant residential contribution to solve the problem of the healthy development of China’s construction industry and environmental protection.The industrial production of wallboard is an important part of the Housing industrialization. At present most of the domestic wallboard production equipment is not high degree of automation. Production efficiency is low. The imported equipment is expensive. These problems have seriously restricted the development of the wallboard production. Developed a line with China’s national conditions, a higher degree of automation wallboard production line equipment become an urgent problem.In this paper, a wallboard production line is taken as the research object, analyze of the process and control requirements of the production line according to the production technology and production equipment. Then study a variety of industrial control technology and its latest results, comparing the status quo of automation control systems of production line in the same industry at home and abroad. At last, complete the development of the Distributed Control System of the wallboard automated production lines based on the platforms Including hardware and software such as PLC, inverter, sensors, industrial Ethernet, and configuration and programming software.In order to complete the network control and information integration, the communication mechanisms of Siemens products including wireless LAN and PC, touch screen, inverter communication with PLC are focused on in this paper. According to the process and equipment requirements, controller, inverter and sensor selection, electrical control schematics and system reliability are designed in the control system. Moreover, PLC control program, touch screen program, and Human Machine Interface monitoring program on PC are developed based on STHP7V11Professional. WinCC flexible2008and WinCC6.0software platform, and Process control requirements and the monitoring of the production process information, process parameter setting, fault intelligent alarm, variable trend drawing, historical data management and other functions are all implemented.On-site commissioning and operation shows that the design of the wallboard produetion line control system in the paper with good reliability and practicality meets with the technical control requirement. The level of automation, produetion efficiency and product quality of the production line equipment are improved. In a word, expected goal of the design is achieved in this paper. This system is a typical case of distributed control system, can be easily ported to a similar system through product of design, with good prospects for the promotion and application.
