Design Of Automatic Fuel Distributing & Management System Of Diesel Locomotive

Automatic fuel distributing and management controlled by computer is not widely used at present. In existing railway fueling system, it still adopts the hand-operated method and depends on workers’visual observation to determine the quantity of fuel, which can not avoid the waste of fuel through running, embezzling, dropping and leakage, and especially drivers’wrangle over fuel quantity when they shift duties. Meanwhile, railway department fuel reports are filled in, calculated and submitted manually. If things go on like this, it will result in tremendous loss of fuel and is not in favor of checking the usage of fuel. Aiming at solving these problems, this paper researches and develops the automatic fuel distributing and management system based on changing the traditional locomotive fueling mode and management style and improving locomotive fueling efficiency and management efficiency, in order to meet the high-efficient demand that run of the railway.The aim of this paper is to provide a whole fuel distributing and management project for depot. Therefore, the automatic devices and software are designed in this text to make the fuel distributing and management system automatic. The hardware and software are the focal in this paper, and the marrow of the system. When the system starts, the sensor pulse signal is conveyed to the computer by the data gathering circuit, and the computer converts it into the flow. When the quantity is reached, the computer cuts off the electromagnetic valve and the electrical machinery and saves the fueling information in the computer.A detailed solution about the automatic fuel distributing and management system of the diesel locomotive is engineered in this paper. It starts with the current situation about fuel distributing of the diesel locomotive, and analyzes the purpose and the significance of the system and introduces the overall designing plan including the framework of the system and the design of pipeline control system. It also introduces the structure of controlled system, the electric controlled system, the controlled system based on ISA bus computer, the interface board designing of I/O module, IC card reader module designing and the hardware controlled by the software.Host computer program is complied with C++ language in this paper. System softwares are used to control the progress of fueling and make the locomotive fueling information statistical, stored, printed and displayed.
