【Objective】Numbers of antibiotics were used even abused in the modern poultry breeding, it brought harmin the environment、livestock and human, so it was a priority study how to reduce the amount of antibiotics inthe breeding. Antibiotic alternative technologies have been researched for many years, but scattered, isolation,become a mere formality, needed a systematically research.【Methods】This paper studied that utilizing SPF chicken caecum composite probiotics set up full andhealthy flora in the broiler caecum, through a new method “competitive exclusion (CE)” inhibited pathogencolonized infection.With96-well microdilution plate and96matrix antibiotic susceptibility testing kit method, fromheat-clearing and detoxicating、clearing heat and expelling dampness Chinese herbal medicine to find a goodbacteria in vitro inhibition of medicine, Macleaya cordata extract(sanguinarine) was best in vitro bacteriostat,can reach the amount of antibiotics; Coptis chinensis franch and radix scutellariae took second place, butthese concentration of the sterilization were still higher, they can’t reach such a high concentration in thebody, so taking coptis chinensis franch, radix scutellariae and antibiotics joint in vitro bacteriostasis test.Macleaya cordata extract(sanguinarine) in vitro bacteriostat was done further experimental verification.the inhibition of Macleaya cordata extract(sanguinarine) to242high or multidrug resistant clinical strains andgrowth-promoting effect on broilers. Agar diffusion method was used to measure inhibition zone of variousantibiotics to the clinical isolates and calculate resistance rate; MICs of sanguinarine or berberine to the sameclinical isolates were determined with96lattice two-fold dilution method. A large-scale feeding trial with146,000AA broilers was conducted to evaluate sanguinarine growth-promoting effect by oral supplement ofMacleaya cordata extract solution.Intensive feeding environment could easily cause the prevalence of epidemic diseases, whether drugtreatment or prophylaxis, animals liver were both damaged, keeping them “sub-health” state, causing thevicious cycle of disease, not only wasting feedstuff, animal products quality would fall. So injecting broilerby CCl4to establish liver damage model, broiler liver was done protective experiment with two ChineseTraditional Medicine recipes, then testing aspartate transaminase(AST)、alanine aminotransferase(ALT)、superoxide dismutase(SOD)、malondialdehyde(MDA)、glutathione reductase(GR)、TP、ALB and GLBcontent, dissecting observation and doing liver pathology to compare with pathological changes of thevarious experimental group.【Results】(1)The results shown early to establish full and healthy flora broiler to12days old can do not useantibiotics, survival rate、feed intake and weight were slightly higher than use antibiotics control group, it cansave breeding cost.(2)Coptis chinensis, radix scutellariae and antibiotics have synergy, they both can reducethe amount of antibiotics in specific concentration.(3)Sanguinarine had a strong inhibitory effect on a varietyof clinical pan-resistant strains, even it reached the antibiotics antibacterial concentrations. So Macleaya cordata instead of antibiotics in the feedstuff, as feed additives for broiler feeding experiment, it can promotebroiler growth, improve survival rate and save breeding cost, it provided experimental basis for replacingantibiotics as feed additives.(4)Recipe Ⅰ、Ⅱ play roles in anti-inflammatory, antioxidant capacity, andprotect liver from damage in a certain extent. RecipeⅠwax stronger in anti-inflammatory, and recipe Ⅱ wasslightly better in antioxidant.【Conclusions】In the livestock breeding intensive、sizable transition period, the dangers of pathogenicbacteria resistance was more prominent, not only to explore new preventive care technology, need integrateall technology around this problem. This paper systemicly researched that probiotics instead of “openmedicine” competitively inoculated to broilers; Chinese medicinal herb instead of antibiotics inhibitedbacterial deseases; and screened “protect liver detoxify” Chinese medicinal herb for medicine animal liverdamage, to establish a new mode of controlling pathogenic bacteria resistance in scale farm.
