In searching for the proper kinds of microbial fertilizer and its application, differentamounts of biogas liquid manure and microbial fertilizer were applied to study theireffects on the growth, quality and yield of the Lycium.barbarum L. in Jingtaiirrigation region, which could provide theoretical basis for combined application ofbiogas liquid manure and microbial fertilizer with any other fertilizer inLycium.barbarum L. planting.Using a four years old Ningqi NO.1as the material, different amounts of biogasliquid manure (0,6,8,10,12,14kg per plant) and microbial fertilizer (G and Y)wereapplied to study their effects on the growth, quality and yield with a random blockexperimental design. The results showed are as follows.(1) The application of biogas liquid manure increased the aboveground biomassabout8.3%-79.73%, reached the leaf area index increment to46.04%,and increasedchlorophyll content27.96%a t least,at the same time enhanced the l00-seed weight, yield, polysaccharide, carotenoid, flavonoid and betaine content in grains. Theincrement of l00-seed weight and yield were1.11%-20.56%and5.21%-34.07%。There were significant variations in different treatments. Spring shoot growth ratesincreased firstly and decreased afterwards. Leaf area and biomass peaked under thetreatment of10kg per plant. With the increase of the application of biogas liquidmanure, chlorophyll content presented obvious rise and tended to be stable when thelevel it reached was higher than12kg per plant. Polysaccharides and betaine contentreached maximum value under10kg and12kg per plant respectively. Carotenoidcontent increased with the amount increasing, while the flavonoid content growth wasnot apparent. For10kg per plant the dried fruit weight increased and tended to bestable. Generally speaking, the combination with the existing fertilization and theapplication of biogas liquid manure10kg per plant displayed significant effects on thegrowth, quality and grain yield, which could provide theoretical basis for combinedapplication of biogas liquid manure with fertilizer in Lycium.barbarum L. planting.(2)The application of microbial fertilizer enhanced and improved the productive traits. chlorophyll content were more than double that of CK, the amplification ofcarotenoid had reached81.87%, to the other indexes, they were more than that of CKto varying degrees as well. For G-4800ml per plant the grain yield increased andtended to be stable, while the grain yield decreased with the amount of Y increasing. There was a negative correlation between100-seed weight and grain yield under Ycircumstances, at the same time synergistically increasing showed between the twounder G. Spring shoot growth rates and chlorophyll content increased firstly anddecreased afterwards, no significant fluctuation were found in crude growth rates.Leaf characters increased as well, G was beneficial to the leaf dry weight, meanwhileY could favor the specific leaf area.4kinds of medicinal components content has thetrends to increase at first, but to decrease then. Polysaccharides content reachedmaximum value under G-6000ml and Y-4800ml per plant respectively. Carotenoidcontent had the best effect under4800ml per plant of the two, synergism in group Ghad notable difference with that of group Y. Flavonoid content under Y decreasedsignificantly with the high amount. Betaine content reached maximum value underG-3600ml and Y-2400ml per plant respectively.(3)Grey comprehensive evaluation based on yield were used to compared virtuesor defect degree during the different treatment, many other effects were considered aswell. The resultes showed that10kg per plant biogas liquid manure, G-3600ml andY-2400ml per plant were the best three, evaluation values were16.9440,17.6751and16.9441respectively, which could provide theoretical basis for selection andapplication of microbial fertilizer in Lycium.barbarum L. planting.Comprehensively, applying biogas liquid manure and two kinds ofmicrobiological fertilizer helped to improve the growth condition, photosyntheticrate, quality indexes and promote the yield of Lycium.barbarum L. There wereantagonism between yield and quality evaluation, while the Application of BiogasLiquid Manure and microbiological Fertilizer could balance the competition betweenthe two concerned, Which had played an important link role between the goal ofhigh yield, high quality and fertilization model.
