Since ancient times, the gratitude of the Chinese nation the traditional virtues."Adrop springs", and then a crow feeding, lamb kneeling milk, we have a profoundthanksgiving cultural traditions, deeply nourish generation generations. But in today’ssociety, practical, utilitarian but gradually become the core of the measure, which acertain impact on the traditional Thanksgiving culture, thankful heart in this context,moving away from the worthy people to think. Lack of gratitude of individuals orgroups, whether calm, happy life, is more questionable. Contemporary college studentsas a higher level of knowledge and cultural qualities of the social elite groups, not onlyhave excellent professional knowledge and vocational skills, but also charged with theimportant task of heritage fine moral quality, improve self-cultivation, and so establish acorrect and positive Thanksgiving values university students a basic requirement.Based on study methods such as literature analysis and questionnaireinvestigation, this study compiles College Students’ gratitude Values Questionnaire withhigh reliability and validity. In addition, we study on high-level talents views on valueand subject well-being with Happiness Indicators Scale.The conclusions of this study can be drawn as follows:①College students’ views on gratitude Values can be divided into7factors,including selfish thanking drive, selfless thanking drive, social return inclination,emotional return inclination, selfless return inclination and harmonious relations driveand conscience drive. The questionnaire compiled by this study has a relatively higherreliability and validity, which can be a good tool to measure college students’ views onthanking value.②the score of college students’ gratitude values is relatively high(the averagescore is4.080). Selfless thanking drive and selfish thanking drive are higher thanselfless return inclination and conscience drive.③the differences of views on thanking values on demographic variables can beillustrated as follows: there is no remarkable differences between students with differentgenders in terms of the overall grade, but on the contrary on the dimension of selfishthanking drive and selfless thanking drive with the female higher than the male; the freshmen get a higher grade than other grades on the dimension of selfless thankingdrive; in the comparison of different majors, humanity-history students get a higherscore than other majors in terms of the overall grade. On the dimension of selfishthanking drive, selfless return inclination and conscience drive, the humanity-historystudents get a remarkable higher grade than other majors. On the dimension of selfishthanking drive, the only-child students are higher than its counterparts; there is nodifference among students from different locations in the overall score and alldimensions; on the dimensions of emotional return inclination and selfless returninclination, students who had got the scholarship is higher than those who did not.④in the general, the dimensions such as selfish thanking drive, selfless thankingdrive, social return inclination, emotional return inclination, selfless return inclinationand harmonious relations drive and conscience drive all have remarkable correlationwith subjective sense of happiness (P<0.05、P<0.01、P<0.01、P<0.01、P<0.01). Inaddition, social return inclination has a remarkable regression effect to subjective senseof happiness(P<0.001).
