Chinese language teaching and Chinese Culture teaching are related to Learning the Chinese language one needs to understand Chinese culture.The Ministry of Education and Human Resources of Korea has specified the regulations especially on teaching the Chinese language. According to the Educational regulations published in 2001, Article 155 of Item 1 of the 7th curricula particularly attaches importance to learning and teaching Chinese language and culture. Thereafter, in 2007, the Ministry of Education and Human Resources of Korea published 7th revised curricula that put more emphasis on learning and teaching Chinese culture.Firstly, the author introduces the Education regulations in the 7th revised curricula in learning and teaching Chinese culture, that has been enforced at present, analyzes Chinese learning textbooks <Chinese I> and examines a sample College Scholastic Ability Test and opinions of the students who are learning Chinese in school. Secondly, the author surveys whether learning and teaching Chinese culture according to Education regulations conforms to the examination sample College Scholastic Ability Test. Thereafter, she considers learning and teaching Chinese language at High school level in order to understand the condition of learning and teaching Chinese culture at present, analyzes the results obtained from the survey and suggests an effective learning and teaching plan of Chinese culture for Chinese language teaching at High school level in Korea.From the research it is found that although Chinese Culture teaching and learning has been given an important role during Chinese language teaching and learning at High school in Korea. At present is emphasized only for university entrance examination through Grammar translation teaching method in Korea. Then, to make the learning and teaching plan of Chinese culture effective, Chinese culture teaching should be incorporated together with Chinese language teaching in the classroom, and hence this can be fulfilled harmoniously in the Chinese culture teaching plan in reality for learners’benefit.
