Any language learning starts from vocabulary,which is the basic material to construct the language system.However,it is especially hard for the teachers to teach vocabulary,and it is also difficult for the students to master vocabulary.The reasons are as follows:students with different vocabulary proficiency,the great differences between juniors and seniors,rigid teaching method and the lack of way for memorizing vocabulary.The guided learning plan teaching mode,as a derivative of the "the guided plan",whose purpose is to teach students how to learn,the main way is the autonomous study and cooperative study of students,the leading role of teacher is to enlighten the students,it is a model of teaching formed through the teacher-student interaction,group interaction,and student interaction.Combining with related theory about the guided plan teaching mode,this research takes the implementation and effectiveness of teaching mode of high school English vocabulary based on the guided learning plan teaching mode.This research is on the basis of the Constructivism theory,the Humanism theory and System Science theory,so as to explore the guided learning plan teaching mode in vocabulary learning for senior high school students,including students' vocabulary skills and autonomous learning ability.In order to achieve this research objective,the research sets two research questions as follows:1.Compared with the traditional approach of vocabulary teaching,what is the impact of the guided learning plan teaching mode on senior high school students' good command of vocabulary skills?2.Compared with the previous "cramming" method in vocabulary teaching,what is the effect of the guided learning plan teaching mode on the senior high school students' English vocabulary independent learning capability?In this research,92 students of grade one were selected as subjects for a four-week teaching experiment.The overall English proficiency of the two classes was very similar.This research sets Class A as the experimental class(EC)and choose class B as the control class(CC).In this teaching experiment,the research allocates the experimental class to apply the guided learning plan teaching mode in English class,this is to say,the students have English vocabulary class according to the guided learning plan teaching mode.In contrast,the students in the control class still adopt traditional vocabulary learning mode in English classroom.This paper adopts questionnaire,interview,test and SPSS21.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data collected during the experiment.It has been discovered that,under the same teaching material and the same group of students,the guided learning plan teaching mode adopted in experimental classes can effectively improve the overall vocabulary level of all the students and the students'interest in memorizing words.However,under the traditional vocabulary teaching mode,the students'vocabulary skills in control class ceases to advance.Finally,it can come conclusions from this research that the guided learning plan teaching mode is indeed a proven and effective teaching method to help students learn vocabulary,and it is of great benefit to students' English vocabulary skills and autonomic learning ability,and change the traditional English classroom teaching structure to a certain extent,attaching great importance to the active participation of students,which has effectively promoted the improvement of students' comprehensive English ability.
