There are abundant Buddhist relics in Jinchang City which is located in the eastern Hexi Corridoris and this place is the gateway of the Silk Road.These Buddhist relics include the Buddhist grottoes,temples,towers,statues, scriptures, stone carvings and many documents recorded in the local chronicles or Buddhism classics.The comprehensive and systematic investigation and study of the Buddhist cave-temples and many Buddhist relics including the ancient temples recorded in related literature of Jinchang City has been written in this paper. The author has make more effort in individual temples and statues, such as Shengrong temple and Panhe statue in this paper.The whole article is divided into three parts. Chapter one disscusses in detail on the introduction of Liu sahe’s life, Panhe Statue,and the history of the Shengrong temple’s construction. Chapter two is the survey of Wangyu Canyon and Buddhist relics in its surrounding. Due to the rich and concentrated Buddhist relics of Canyon Wangyu and the surrounding areas,this part separately to conduct an investigation. Chapter three is the survey of scattered Buddhist temple grottos in Jinchang City,the ancient temples recorded in Revised Record of Yongchang County and Buddhist statues in Yongchang museum.
