Progresses have been made in the field of teaching Chinese as foreign language during past three decades. As the accumulation of researches and knowledge in this field, an increasing number of educators aware the significance of teaching Chinese as foreign language.Normally teaching vocabulary is important and being stressed through the course of second language acquisition, especially for beginners. Moreover, teaching vocabulary is one indispensable part of a successful Chinese class, no matter it is a speaking or extensive reading class. Vocabulary of Chinese is huge, which means great complexity and diversity, ergo it is plausible to install a set of standards for different level of learners.Due to the nature of learners, for instance nationality, age, study level, all these posed a challenge to teachers, thus in this field some questions are need to be solved. Recently, some scholars try to find an untraditional pathway to enhance the efficiency of teaching vocabulary, as well as the application of this pathway.But reality is that we have a variety of Chinese learners, they all different form each other, one specific method can not be applied to all learners, therefore, a practical solution is to use different strategy for different level learners. Herein we report our studies and comparisons of language acquisition methods in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and different strategy between the low and high level learners.
