A Report On The Translation Of Sick Water? The Central Role Of Wastewater Management In Sustainable Development

This is a translation project report on Sick Water? The Central Role ofWastewater Management in Sustainable Development compiled by GRID-Arendalhas been an interagency collaboration led by UNEP and UN-HABITAT in partnershipwith members of UN Water. The difficulties lie in the translation of long sentences,specialized terminology, graphs and proper nouns such as place names andorganization names. Different translating methods are used to solve these problemssuch as: division, conversion, amplification, etc.. The translator must master thesimilarities and differences between two languages and it is of great importance to usedifferent translating methods flexibly.
