The state council in2012issued a file--"on further promote Guizhou eco-socialdevelopment opinions", which exactly points out that the development of educationcareer must be giving priority. Thus, for the current economic development ofGuizhou, it is a golden opportunity in history, which has an epoch-making milestones.In this context, Guizhou’s education also has unprecedented opportunities fordevelopment. Local normal colleges and universities should seize the opportunity topromote their own leap. At the same time, the English department which belongs tothis kind of school organization has made considerable progress in recent years.But under the background of an increasingly competitive universities, especiallyhigher vocational colleges at present regain booming development,.which students’employment market in general are higher than that of.normal universities. Under thesevere competition situation, the newly built local normal colleges should seriouslythink about how to improve themselves.This paper regards the English professional of two local normal colleges asresearch objects, and mainly use Zunyi normal college English department as casestudy.
