Study Of Decorative Beauty About Black-and-white Porcelain Pillow Of Cizhou Kiln In Period Of Song, Jin And Yuan Dynasties

With the progress of archaeological excavations, Black-and-White porcelain pillowof Cizhou kiln in Song, Jin and yuan dynasties was found in plenty, and ceramic-relatedresearch areas have attracted more attention. It is not only the typical artifacts of Cizhoukiln in shape, but also the perfect application of representative Black-and-Whiteporcelain techniques of Cizhou kiln in decoration. So further research should beconducted on the areas of ceramic aesthetics.Currently, there is a very in-depth and extensive study to decoration onBlack-and-White porcelain pillow of Cizhou kiln in period of Song，Jin and Yuandynasties. However, the study on its decorative beauty is not comprehensive enough,especially on its aesthetic nature and morphology. For this purpose, the methods ofobservation, induction and literature were used. Through sorting, classifying andrefining a large number of pictures, this study has analysis the aesthetic nature andmorphology of the decorative beauty of Black-and-White porcelain pillow of Cizhoukiln in Song, Jin and yuan dynasties from the aesthetic point of view, and with theChinese traditional aesthetic theory as the key line. The result of analysis revealed thatBlack-and-White porcelain pillow of Cizhou kiln in Song, Jin and yuan dynastiescontains original and real of natural beauty, the unity of form and content of livingbeauty and emphasis on the implication of artistic beauty. The significance of this studyis to enhance the aesthetic understanding of the decorative beauty of Black-and-Whiteporcelain pillow of Cizhou kiln in Song, Jin and yuan dynasties, and contribute toChinese ceramics aesthetics especially Chinese traditional ceramic aesthetics as usefulcomplement.
