Language is at the center of human life and it is a kind of tool that links the whole world together. We use all kinds of language to express our ideas and feelings and it makes our life more convenient. As a language capacity, many linguists claim that writing ability reflects not only the level of the person’s cognition, but also the thinking ability and the comprehensive understanding of the language, which plays an important role in the process of foreign language learning. There would be no doubt that English is one of the world’s most widely used languages, which is necessary for official business, education, information and other activities in many countries. Apart from the former British colonies all over the world, there are other countries like China, Japan, Korea, etc. in Asia and some of the European and Latin American countries where also English is taught as a second language purely out of utilitarian considerations. Auxiliary verbs, which are one of the most important parts of the English grammar, learners should know more about them. However, many teachers have found that students’writing levels are generally very low, especially errors frequently appeared on auxiliary verbs in writing a preposition. As we all know, almost every learner will make mistakes in their foreign language learning process. Since writing is a difficult point in English teaching, teachers should pay more attention to it. This paper includes six parts. It provides an introduction of error analysis to the application of the research in second language acquisition (SLA) to English writing teaching suitable for both teachers and learners. The main aim of this paper is to explore some ideas about how learners acquire English Auxiliary verbs from the second language acquisition (SLA) research and put forward some suggestions about how these might benefit language teaching and learning. The papers aims to analyze learners’English writing errors in Auxiliary verbs and explore the causes, and finally put forward some strategies to correct these errors second language acquisition (SLA) research. In order to analyze this issue well, we use four methods in the research:field research, synchronic research, error analysis and case study. We also put forward some concepts of the new teaching modes, hoping to improve the Chinese learners’writing ability and open doors to technical and scientific knowledge which is indispensable to the economic and political development of vast areas of the world.
