As a typical culture representative of Chinese learning, Idioms is essential inTeaching Chinese as Foreign Language(TCFL) which is not only the heritage of theancient Chinese culture but the crystallization of the wisdom of the Chinese. Masteryof idioms is also looked upon as an important criterion for measuring learning level ofthem in the process of oversea students learning Chinese as a second language. TakingKorean students as study objects and regarding biased model sentences in their usingidioms as analysis data, summarized the types and reasons of bias in the process ofoversea students learning and using idioms were summarized and the correspondingsolutions were proposed in this paper.The full text is divided into five parts:The learning situation and the importance of TCFL was explained and putforward in the part one. Meanwhile, the existing research situation of idioms wassummarized.By analyzing the collected biased model sentences systematically, the biases ofKorean students using idioms were divided into four categories in the part two, whichwere grammatical biases, semantic biases, writing biases and pragmatic biases.In the part three, the targeted reasons why there are biases in Korean studentsusing idioms were found out based on the bias types summarized in the previoussection.Several suggestions were thrown out on teaching foreigners Chinese Idiomscombining the types with the reasons of biases in Korean students using idioms in thepart four.The full-text content was summarized in the part five.
