Analysis Of Common Errors Of "Shi" Sentence

"Shi" sentence which is one of the most important sentences in the modern Chinese isone of the most commonly-used sentences as well. The word "shi" in the modern Chineseis used at a high frequency, and it can be used as predicate、adverbial、complement、subject、object、attribute and so on, and the grammatical meanings of "shi" are various. Theparts of speech of "shi" are special, and the sentence patterns which are made up of "shi"are complicated. As Chinese people who use Chinese as our mother tongue, the majority ofus cannot give all the clear definitions of "shi" when we use "shi" sentences. Therefore, itis very common that foreign students often make kinds of mistakes when they learn the"shi" sentences. This paper will summarize some common mistakes in "shi" sentences,taking the foreign students of Japanese and Korean as examples. And then make a deepanalysis of these reasons, and give some suggestions or advice at the end of this paper.
