This thesis discusses an issue of teaching the "Bei" sentence in modern Chinese toVietnamese students. The thesis analyzes common mistakes of students and inadequaciesof the curriculum which is currently used in Vietnam to assess the difficulties in teachingthe "Bei" sentence to Vietnamese students, while through the facts of actual classes,improve the curriculum of the "Bei" sentence as well as teaching skills for this grammar.The thesis is divided into four chapters. Chapter1presents the introduction of whythe topic has been chosen, research history on the "Bei" sentence and the issue of teaching"Bei" sentence, the object and the method of topic are also introduced in the frist chapter.In the second chapter, the sentence "Bei" in modern Chinese and the passive voicesentence of the Vietnamese are compared to find out the similarities and differencesbetween these two languages. The third chapter bases on the surveys of Ms. Li Haiqing andMr. Qiu ZhiMing for further analysis and review of common types of students’ mistakeswhen using the sentence "Bei" and their causes, this chapter also analyzes the curriculumcurrently used to identify existing problems, that results in the assumption of thedifficulties in teaching the sentence "Bei" to Vietnamese students. In the forth chapter,through the analyses gives some suggestions in improving the curriculum of the sentence"Bei", methods and involved teaching techniques, and also through the facts collected fromactual classes analyse the effectiveness of these adjustment in teaching "Bei" sentence.
