The modern Chinese Bei-sentence is a kind of very complex and unique patterns,has attracted grammar expert’s attention. No matter in the structure, pragmatic orsemantics, Bei-sentence is always a prominent difficulty for the Vietnamese students.They often make different errors in the acquisition process of learning this sentence.On the basic research of the formers, this thesis carried on a questionnaire surveyfor the Chinese elementary, intermediate, advanced levels of three hundredVietnamese students in order to collect language materials and understand theirChinese Bei-sentence learning situation. According to the survey results, analyzingthe errors, concluding error types, researching into the source of errors, and thenputting forward some effective suggestions for the teaching of Chinese as a foreignlanguage, thus helping the Vietnamese students learn and master this sentence betterand faster..This thesis summarizes that the Vietnam students often make four types of errorssuch as addition, omission, substitution and mis-sequence, especially both of omission,substitution errors account for a higher ratio. Follow the Chinese level of theVietnamese students is increasing day by day, the occurred frequency of these errorshave been reduced. The same to the theory of error analysis, the causes of these errorsalso come from the negative transfer of mother-tongue knowledge, theovergeneralization of target language knowledge, the influence of learning andcommunication strategies, the effect of teaching strategies. Finally, through theBei-sentence learning situation of the Vietnamese students and the investigation forthe selection and arrangement of the Bei-sentence in the current program andmaterials, this paper put forward some recommendations for teaching methods andlearning strategies, etc; provided valuable references for the Vietnamese teachers andstudents.
