A Study On Counjunctions In Liaozhai Liqu

Liaozhai liqu which written by Pu Songling, is a famous and representative novel in the Middle age Chinese. The language of this novel has lots of special features for it is written in Shandong dialect language. This paper tries to focus on all the conjunctions of this novel, and after all-round researching, we find103conjunctions in this novel, and we do further research basic on the statistic data.This paper has six chapters in total.The first chapter is introduction in which we introduced Pu Songling’s lifetime and his main literature works. Besides, we also introduce the research status and significance of research of this novel.Chapter two is talking about the definition of conjunction and the difference among the conjunctions、the prepositions and the adverbs even the method of distinguishing the three words class.As the first important component of the study, chapter three researches the copulative conjunctions in Liaozhailiqu While Chapter four, the second important part of the paper, focus on the Infrequently-used conjunction in Liaozhailiqu.The content of Chapter five is the historical comparative of the conjunctions. After the comparison of the conjunctions in different historical period, we conclude some features of the conjunctions in Liaozhailiqu.The last chapter explains the features of the conjunctions and summarizes the way that how the conjunction produced based on the analysis of the first five chapters.
