Liaozhai Liqu is a type of verse for singing written by Pu Songling,who lived in early Qing Dynasty,and it has been popular with people from Qing Dynasty till now.The writer used a large quantity of dialects and spoken language of Zichuan,which provides a lot of materials to study the modrern Chinese colloquialism.So it is of great value in linguistics.
