Chinese medicine is a traditional science in our country. It has a long history but bittersweet current status. Many scholars consider Chinese medicine will become one of the strongest powers in the future by its unique strengths. Following the ever-increasing cooperation and communication between nations, the Chinese medicine’s clinical effect and unique theoretical system are gaining more and more attention throughout the world. Therefore, it is the irresistible responsibility for every Chinese to grasp and popularize the knowledge of Chinese medicine, and enlighten the world on its glamour. In order to introduce the theory, practice, and achievements in scientific research of Chinese medicine to the world, ensure the correct understanding of foreign scholars and promote the academic exchange, the translation of Chinese medicine has become an increasingly heated topic.Traditional Chinese medicine is the most important parts of traditional Chinese culture. As a result, in the procedure of medicine translation, translation of culture characteristic is the most important thing (Zhang Xuan, Shi Yunzhong,2008). Based on the traditional Chinese culture, the essay will conduct a probing analysis and induction of translation of TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) through the perspectives of translating the basic terminologies of Chinese medicine, including Chinese medicinal herb, Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion terminology. as well as the translation of Chinese medical scriptures and expressions. At the same time, the essay also aims at finding out the root of translation problems by analyzing some typical examples of improper translation so as to better popularize and disseminate the traditional Chinese medicine culture. It is hoped that the standardization of TCM can be helpful to those foreign researchers to understand TCM deeply and contribute to the combination of this Chinese great treasure with World medical science.
